Twerk Video in honour for Mother’s Day…..WHAT!!
So this young lady claims that she is twerkin for justice and solidarity. Oh! I did not know that being dressed half naked and shaking my ass would promote equal justice among sexes/gender?!
When I watched this video the first thing that I asked myself was “what would her mother think if she had/has seen this video?” Better yet, how would her LATE FATHER had felt if he had known his daughter create this video? Justice for what cause…oppression, equal rights, equal wages? Please, it’s rationalization to twerk for attention cause…I mean…YOLO right?! I honestly can’t deal with our human race mentality, really and truly. If you ask me she brought us (females) back 500 years. She says that we live in a society that does not respect woman work. This is very true. However what she is doing, trying to explain her reasoning is EXACTLY the reason why men call their girlfriend bitches, sluts, whores and the works. NOT THAT I’M SAYING THEY SHOULD! But with videos like these…it does not help the situation!
Woman need to carry themselves with respect. Thats when you will be respected! God himself said your worth is far more than rubies (Proverbs 31:10). Hence you should not degrade your worth for temporary attention. At the end of the day, you should be building yourself up instead of tearing it down. Therefore if you want to promote justice and solidarity read up on some female history. Look to a role model like a mother, an aunt, a sister, cousin or friend. For me, I want to be half (if not more) as virtuous, strong, ambitious and classy as my own mother!
I’m not perfect. I joke around with my girlfriends when it comes to this BUT I would have to be high (I don’t smoke), out of my mind (i’m completely 100 in my head), drunk (never been drunk), to stand in front of a camera and dance for the world to see. Not my dignity you won’t…
Keep it classy ladies and off the internet! Save the moves for your future partner ;)
